Backend Engineer at State Technologies Ltd (State)

Join State Technologies Ltd (State) as a Backend Engineer to build and maintain high-quality Laravel services and APIs. • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs using Laravel, ensuring high concurrency and extensibility.
• Architect and optimize systems that support GenAI integrations, GIS systems, Knowledge Graphs, and high-concurrency workloads.
• Work cross-functionally with Product and AI teams to integrate LLMs, vector retrieval, and graph reasoning, following best practices in code quality and observability.

• Possesses at least 5 years of professional Laravel experience with PHP and various databases like PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Has essential experience working directly with OpenAI or other LLM providers, and exposure to GenAI engineering, including model integration and vector retrieval.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks (PHPUnit/Pest), common architecture patterns for scalability, and experience with GIS systems and Knowledge Graphs.
