Client Manager at Rise Accounting - Fast-growing startup specialist

As a Client Manager at Rise Accounting, you will lead a dedicated team serving a portfolio of innovative tech startups and SMEs. You will oversee essential accounting functions while providing strategic advisory services, financial forecasting, and growth support. This role is pivotal in maintaining the firm’s impressive 120% annual growth and scaling its professional services.

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of tech-focused clients, acting as their primary point of contact for accounting and advisory needs.
• Manage and mentor a team of 3-4 Junior to Semi-Senior Accountants, ensuring high-quality output across VAT, payroll, and year-end accounts.
• Drive client value through strategic advisory services, including financial forecasting and specialized schemes like EIS, SEIS, and EMI.

• Must be a qualified or qualified-by-experience accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA preferred) with a strong background in practice or professional services.
• Demonstrates expert-level proficiency in cloud-based accounting software, specifically Xero and QuickBooks, to manage multiple client workflows efficiently.
• Possesses a proactive, self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
