Department Owner at Lendable - £3.5bn Fintech Unicorn

As the first Strategy & Operations hire reporting to the COO’s office, you will own and transform the Quality Assurance function from the ground up. You’ll redesign manual processes into AI-driven workflows using LLMs, lead a team of 20, and leverage SQL-heavy analytics to ensure high-quality automation across a rapidly scaling global platform.

• Redesign the Quality Assurance department from first-principles, transitioning manual oversight into sophisticated, automated, and data-driven monitoring systems.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team of 20, leading them through operational changes and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to build and implement new automated workflows that enhance customer outcomes.

• 5-8+ years of experience in management consulting (MBB) or a high-growth operational role like Chief of Staff or Founder’s Associate.
• Highly analytical with strong hands-on SQL skills and the ability to pull and interpret complex datasets to drive strategic decision-making.
• Proven track record of managing people and leading complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
