Founding Engineer at South Park Commons-backed public safety AI startup

You will architect the foundational systems for a multi-product ecosystem that transforms raw narratives into structured, actionable intelligence for law enforcement. Working alongside a former detective and an ex-Palantir CTO, you'll ship AI-powered tools that automate investigative workflows, accelerate lead discovery, and directly improve community safety through cutting-edge technology.

• Architect and build core features across reporting and intelligence platforms using React, Next.js, and Python.
• Design robust RAG pipelines and vector database workflows to handle complex, unstructured narratives and multimedia data.
• Collaborate directly with detectives and officers in the field to validate product usability and refine mission-critical investigative workflows.

• 2-10 years of experience shipping production-grade AI products with a strong focus on LLMs, embeddings, and modern web stacks.
• Proven ability to operate as a product engineer, balancing deep technical architecture with a rapid ship-and-iterate mindset.
• US citizenship is required to meet the security clearance standards necessary for building infrastructure for law enforcement agencies.
