As the Founding Engineer at Marloo, you will architect and build a hyper-specialized AI system of record for financial advisers. You'll move from 0-1, establishing foundational code patterns and influencing the entire product roadmap. This role is a unique opportunity to lead technical development for a platform transforming how families make critical life decisions.

• Build and own core product features end-to-end, working across the full stack from backend infrastructure to polished frontend experiences.
• Collaborate directly with founders to translate user needs into technical solutions while utilizing modern AI tools for rapid architecting and debugging.
• Navigate 0-1 development cycles to reach product-market fit, ensuring security infrastructure and data privacy compliance are built-in from day one.

• Demonstrates excellence in full-stack or backend coding with a bias toward shipping fast and a deep proficiency in modern AI development tools.
• Possesses strong business acumen and product intuition, with the ability to navigate the high-risk and ambiguous environment of an early-stage startup.
• Prioritizes in-person collaboration in London and maintains a long-term mindset focused on customer impact and transforming the financial advisory industry.

• You will be the codebase authority, establishing the foundational architecture and engineering culture for an AI-native startup from inception.
• Direct mentorship from founders and experienced operators provides a high-growth pathway toward either a Principal Engineer or Engineering Leadership role.
• You will work on a mission-driven product that shifts financial advisers from manual "doers" to "reviewers," significantly impacting the trajectory of client financial health.
