Founding Engineer at Aglide — YC-backed browser automation startup

Join a high-caliber team of four building a mission-critical browser automation engine for global enterprises. You will develop an on-device agent that autonomously manages sensitive workflows in applications lacking APIs. This role offers high ownership, direct customer collaboration, and the chance to invent the playbook for secure, browser-based identity and access management.

• Develop and scale the core web-automation engine and on-device Electron environment to reliably perform complex tasks across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Build an intuitive workflow builder that allows non-technical enterprise users to configure autonomous automations for any web-based application.
• Design and implement end-to-end encrypted infrastructure to ensure the highest level of security for sensitive customer data and credentials.

• 1+ years of production software experience with a proven track record of shipping robust, user-facing features in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong systems thinking and debugging skills, particularly with TypeScript, Postgres, and web automation tools like Puppeteer or Selenium.
• A high-ownership mindset with the desire to meet customers, diagnose complex problems, and ship production-ready solutions within a single week.
