Founding Game Designer at AI learning world startup led by former Google and Synthesia leaders

You will be the first game designer for a revolutionary generative learning world built in Godot 4. Designing for children aged 6–10, you will move beyond static levels to create the systems, constraints, and progression mechanics that govern an emergent, voice-driven 2D world featuring an evolving AI companion character.

• Design the exploration systems, pacing, and progression mechanics that make a procedurally generated world feel coherent and emotionally resonant.
• Prototype rapidly using AI tools to generate assets and test emergent player behaviors within a voice-first, interactive environment.
• Establish the foundational design frameworks and provide strong input on the visual art direction to ensure a safe, engaging experience for young children.

• Proven track record of shipping interactive products where you owned core systems design, economy, or progression mechanics.
• Strong systems thinker who can design rules for emergent behavior rather than relying on hand-crafted, authored content.
• Creative generalist comfortable working in Godot 4 and designing for non-adult audiences with a curiosity for how children play and learn.
