Founding Product Engineer at $4.5M seed-stage consumer payments startup

As the third engineer at this SF-based fintech startup, you will build the next generation of shared financial accounts. Working directly with a YC-alum founder, you'll bridge the gap between P2P apps and business banking to create a high-fidelity co-ownership money experience for roommates, families, and communities.

• Lead full-stack feature development (60% frontend / 40% backend) using React, TypeScript, and Go to deliver a seamless consumer payment experience.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and designers to architect high-quality, trustworthy financial controls like role-based permissions and real-time spending limits.
• Leverage AI-driven development tools to accelerate shipping cycles while maintaining the precision required for processing real-time Visa debit transactions.

• Professional experience shipping polished consumer products with a deep mastery of React and TypeScript and a keen eye for UI/UX details.
• Comfortable working across the stack with an interest in mastering Go and experience managing infrastructure via AWS, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
• Proven track record as a founding or early employee who thrives in high-autonomy environments and can be in the San Francisco office three days per week.
