Founding Senior Platform Engineer at Magentic.com — Sequoia-backed AI startup

As the first platform hire, you will design and own the entire cloud-native infrastructure powering Magentic’s AI agents. You will build multi-tenant, multi-cloud systems from scratch, ensuring enterprise-grade security and observability for global manufacturing customers. This is a high-impact role shaping the technical backbone of a $3tn market solution.

• Architect and manage production Kubernetes clusters and cloud-native backbones across both AWS and Azure environments.
• Implement robust IaC and GitOps-driven CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure, automated, and observable software delivery for AI agent workers.
• Lead security and compliance initiatives, including SOC2 and identity federation, to meet the rigorous demands of enterprise manufacturing clients.

• Proven track record of building and operating production-scale infrastructure using Terraform, Pulumi, and container orchestration in fast-paced startup environments.
• Deep mastery of Azure or AWS, with the versatility to manage multi-cloud deployments and complex networking requirements.
• Strong engineering mindset with the ability to translate loosely defined problems into production-ready architectures in days or weeks, not months.
