Full-Stack / Platform Engineer at AI-native company intelligence startup

As a foundational hire, you will design and scale an AI-driven SaaS platform for M&A and private equity dealmaking. You will take full ownership of the system, building sophisticated data pipelines, vector search capabilities, and React-based company insights tools. This role offers the autonomy to shape the technical future of an early-stage startup.

• Design and scale Python FastAPI backends and PostgreSQL schemas featuring pgvector for advanced hybrid search.
• Build and maintain a high-performance React and TypeScript frontend to surface real-time company intelligence and insights.
• Own the entire AWS infrastructure using Terraform, managing ECS, Lambda, and Step Functions within a secure multi-tenant architecture.

• At least 7 years of engineering experience with a track record of building and operating production SaaS systems independently.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, React/TypeScript, and AWS, with a bias for action in fast-moving, low-structure environments.
• Practical experience or strong interest in AI technologies, specifically vector embeddings, LLM integration, and complex data ingestion pipelines.
