Head of Operations and Finance at Foresight Data Machines - Fast-growing real-world AI startup

As Head of Ops and Finance, you will lead scaling from 10 to 20+ people, manage a recent $10m funding round, and oversee international expansion into the US and beyond while maintaining rigorous financial control and strategic forecasting.

• Execute continuous financial forecasting and strategic budgeting to reconcile performance with aggressive hiring, fundraising, and international growth targets.
• Lead comprehensive international operations including entity administration, complex tax compliance, global insurance, and visa requirements for a globally traveling engineering team.
• Manage the full people-operations lifecycle, from scaling the sourcing engine for top-tier talent to overseeing payroll, compensation structures, and contractual legalities.

• Proven experience in a senior finance or operations role (VP, CFO, or COO) within a rapidly scaling startup environment, ideally with a background in investment banking.
• Exceptional mathematical aptitude with the ability to build sophisticated business models and dashboards to automate manual finance tasks and inform major decisions.
• A disciplined, self-directed leader who thrives in high-pressure environments and is excited to travel to massive industrial sites to understand the core business.
