Lead Platform Engineer at Buynomics - AI-driven Pricing & Optimization SaaS

As Lead Platform Engineer, you will design and build a multi-cloud Kubernetes foundation from scratch. You will lead the transition from multi-tenant SaaS to enterprise single-tenant deployments, primarily on Azure. This role offers the unique opportunity to own the infrastructure roadmap for a platform used by Fortune 500 companies to optimize commercial strategies.

• Design and implement cloud-agnostic, single-tenant deployment architectures with an Azure-first focus, supporting AWS and GCP as the platform scales.
• Build and maintain reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules using Terraform to standardize Kubernetes workloads, security policies, and automated environment provisioning.
• Establish observability standards and GitOps-based CI/CD pipelines to ensure operational excellence and cost governance across diverse customer environments.

• 6+ years of experience in platform engineering or SRE roles with deep production expertise in Azure (AKS, Azure AD, and Private Networking).
• Extensive hands-on experience operating Kubernetes at scale and designing complex Infrastructure-as-Code modules using Terraform for multi-cloud environments.
• Proven ability to navigate technical ambiguity and design secure networking patterns, including zero-trust principles and compliance guardrails like SOC 2 or GDPR.
