Platform Engineer at YC-backed Series A fintech building AI-native infrastructure

You will design and own the core infrastructure powering a compliance and workflow engine trusted by 600+ firms. As a backend-focused engineer, you will build the reliable data pipelines, LLM infrastructure, and third-party integrations necessary to automate 70% of financial advisers' administrative workload, ensuring system correctness and auditability at scale.

• Design and maintain scalable backend services using Go and TypeScript as the bedrock of the adviser-facing platform.
• Manage and scale AI infrastructure, including LLM API integrations and proprietary compliance rule engines.
• Build robust, fault-tolerant connectors for third-party financial platforms and back-office systems to serve as a secure system of record.

• Has 3+ years of experience building production-grade backend systems, specifically within fintech, payments, or regulated environments.
• Demonstrates strong hands-on proficiency in Go and/or TypeScript alongside cloud infrastructure expertise (AWS preferred).
• Possesses a deep understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture with an obsession for data integrity and system reliability.
