Software Engineer at Accel-backed seed-stage energy infrastructure startup

You will build the core infrastructure for a decarbonised energy system, developing the API layer that connects millions of EVs and batteries to electricity markets. Working in a flat, high-intensity environment, you'll own end-to-end features across device integration and ML forecasting to facilitate the global transition to renewable energy.

• Design and ship B2B API infrastructure using Python and GCP to connect distributed energy devices to global power markets.
• Build and manage the full Virtual Power Plant stack, including real-time control systems and machine learning forecasting models.
• Collaborate directly with clients and market operators to iterate on product features that move energy usage to green, low-cost periods.

• Proven production experience shipping B2B SaaS products with Python backends and a strong grasp of Docker and GCP environments.
• A history of solving complex technical challenges in distributed systems, real-time integrations, or data pipelines at a scaling startup.
