Jigcar's AI-driven transport optimisation software is built from the ground up for moving cars quickly and cost effectively in modern automotive retail.
We enable automotive businesses to cut costs, reduce days-to-sell, and eliminate manual processes.
We work with some of the biggest automotive retailers in the UK, like Perrys, Glyn Hopkin and Steven Eagell - as well as transport providers, rental companies, auction houses and fleet companies.
Backed by Triple Point Ventures, Venrex, Concept Ventures, Strategic angels from the automotive sector (including angels associated with Bumper).
Responsibilities
What you will do
- Ship production features across our platform, including transport planning, driver apps, prep, payments, and intelligence.
- Collaborate directly with customers and internal teams to translate real-world operational problems into robust product improvements.
- Design, build, and own end-to-end features using Node.js, TypeScript, Vue.js, GraphQL, AWS, and serverless architectures.
Candidate profile
Who this is a fit for
- 3+ years experience building web applications with a modern stack, including Node.js, TypeScript, Vue.js, or AWS.
- A high-execution bias, comfortable owning problems end-to-end and working directly with non-technical stakeholders.
- A product mindset with curiosity about AI and automation, eager to experiment pragmatically and focus on impact and usability.
