Strategy & Operations - Department Owner at Lendable - £3.5bn Fintech Unicorn

You will take full ownership of the Quality Assurance department, redesigning manual processes from first-principles to build a data-driven, automated operation. Reporting to the COO, you will lead a team through this transformation, using SQL to unlock insights and scaling your impact across multiple departments as the business expands internationally.

• Audit and redesign the Quality Assurance function, replacing legacy manual workflows with scalable, automated systems and AI-driven processes.
• Perform hands-on data analysis using SQL to identify operational bottlenecks and deliver insights that improve customer outcomes.
• Manage and upskill a cross-functional team, leading them through significant organizational change and operational transformation.

• Proven track record of owning and executing complex operational projects in fast-paced environments like Tier-1 consulting or high-growth startups.
• Advanced analytical skills with professional proficiency in SQL to pull and interpret complex datasets independently.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence Product, Engineering, and Compliance leaders up to the C-suite level.
