As the founding hire for hardware operations, you will build and own the entire supply chain from scratch. What you will do

  • Build and manage the global supply chain, including contract manufacturer relationships, purchase orders, lead times, and quality control for complex hardware units.
  • Navigate international logistics by owning importer-of-record responsibilities, customs brokerage, and duties for large-enclosure shipments originating from overseas suppliers.
  • Establish and scale 3PL and warehouse partnerships to manage inventory, assembly, kitting, and final-mile delivery to hotels ahead of installation dates.

Who this is a fit for

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or hardware operations, preferably within a high-growth startup or manufacturing environment.
  • Deep expertise in international freight and customs processes, with a proven track record of managing 3PLs and cross-border shipments of physical electronics.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a bias for action, capable of building repeatable, documented systems in an ambiguous, multi-vendor environment.

Why this role is remarkable

  • Founding role: You are the first dedicated hire for hardware operations, tasked with standing up the global supply chain, systems, and vendor partnerships from zero.
  • Global scale: Support a product deploying to a massive existing base of 20,000+ hotels across 100+ countries, moving from pilot phases to mass international distribution.
  • Strategic impact: Bridge the gap between software and physical product, owning the high-stakes logistics that ensure seamless guest experiences in hotel lobbies worldwide.
