Role overview

As our first dedicated motion hire, you will shape the visual identity of a generational AI company. You'll create cinematic, ElevenLabs-style product videos and animations that make complex technical concepts feel intuitive. Working directly with founders, you will own the creative direction for social media, global conferences, and high-impact product launches.

Software

Solve Intelligence is an AI platform that helps legal professionals with every part of the patent process, including patent application drafting, office action responses, invention harvesting, claim charts, prosecution, and more. It provides an in-browser document editor to write high-quality patents efficiently, serving IP firms and in-house teams across the US, Europe, and Asia with 100% secure and confidential software, backed by Y Combinator, Microsoft, and Thomson Reuters.

What you will do

  • Develop a scalable user-centric motion design system and animate assets for the core product experience.
  • Lead the creation of high-fidelity social media and conference promotions from script to final polish.
  • Partner with GTM and design teams to translate technical AI features into engaging visual narratives.

Who this is a fit for

  • 3+ years of experience in motion graphics with a portfolio demonstrating cinematic, product-focused animation quality.
  • Mastery of Adobe After Effects and Figma, with the ability to narrate user experiences through physics-based motion.
  • High-energy, self-directed professional who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and prioritizes rapid execution.

Why this role is remarkable

  • Exceptional traction with 8 figures of ARR and 20-30% month-over-month growth within just two years of launch.
  • Elite backing with $55M from Y Combinator, 20VC, Microsoft, and the founders of Stripe, Perplexity, and Canva.
  • High-agency ownership as the first motion designer, collaborating with a world-class team of AI researchers from Cambridge and UCL.
