Role overview

As Casa's first dedicated recruiter, you will own the end-to-end engineering hiring process and partner directly with the founding team. You will build the recruiting function from scratch, source top-tier technical talent, and eventually influence broader people operations as we scale this Uber/CloudKitchens-inspired operational model in San Francisco.

What you will do

  • Lead full-cycle technical recruiting for the engineering team, from sourcing and interviewing to closing candidates in a highly competitive market.
  • Build and implement foundational recruiting systems, processes, and tools to support rapid scaling and a premium candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with founders on hiring strategy, workforce planning, and initial people operations initiatives to define Casa's early-stage culture.

Who this is a fit for

  • Proven track record as a Senior Recruiter who has successfully scaled engineering teams at high-growth, early-stage startups.
  • Experience operating as a "first recruiter" or sole IC, comfortable building processes where none exist and working in-office 5 days a week.
