Drafter Inc. is seeking a CAD Integration Engineer to own the bridge between our AI platform and the CAD/PLM systems mechanical engineers use daily. You will develop high-performance C#/.NET integrations for tools like SolidWorks and NX, working across the stack to ensure a seamless, consumer-grade experience for the world's most innovative hardware organizations.

What you'll do

What you will do

  • Architect and develop robust CAD and PLM integrations using C# and Visual Studio to enable novel manufacturing solutions within monolithic engineering systems.
  • Collaborate across the full stack, integrating RESTful APIs and WebSockets to enable real-time data manipulation and highly responsive 3D visualizations.
  • Conduct performance testing and optimization to ensure a smooth, interactive UX while maintaining high-quality, scalable code within a fast-paced startup environment.

Who you are

Who this is a fit for

  • Possesses 2–12 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong proficiency in C#/.NET and a track record of deploying high-quality code.
  • Has hands-on experience building and managing CAD/PLM integrations, add-ins, or connectors for platforms such as SolidWorks, NX, or Teamcenter.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen based in the United States, exhibiting the relentless drive and autonomy required to thrive in a remote-first, high-intensity startup.
