Engineering Director at Obvio

Lead the mission-critical Ticketing and Platform teams for a high-growth startup deploying solar-powered, AI-assisted cameras to prevent traffic fatalities. As the first Engineering Director, you will evolve early-stage systems into resilient, global-scale infrastructure while scaling a high-velocity engineering organization founded by the team behind Motive's AI dashcam.

• Manage and mentor a distributed, global team of engineers across the Ticketing and Platform departments to ensure high-velocity product delivery.
• Scale the engineering organization by defining the hiring bar, building recruitment pipelines, and establishing world-class CI/CD and architecture review standards.
• Modernize and harden core infrastructure, taking ownership of production-grade systems, payment integrations, and the security of portals used by law enforcement.

• Brings 12+ years of hands-on experience building complex web-based applications, with a deep understanding of architecture and modern stacks like Python, React, and AWS.
