As the fourth engineer at Avyn, you will work directly with the CEO and CTO to build and scale the AI analyst platform. You’ll own features end-to-end, from data pipelines to CRM integrations. This role requires a deep understanding of AI-native development and a passion for building robust, high-impact systems in the private equity space.

We’re building Avyn, a platform that helps private capital firms — VC, growth equity, venture debt — find companies that match what they’re looking for. It handles sourcing, classification, and automated outreach so deal teams can focus on actually making investment decisions.

What we’re building:

A multi-tenant platform used by institutional investors
ML pipelines that score and rank companies against a firm’s investment criteria
Backend: FastAPI, SQLAlchemy Core, async Postgres, strict typing throughout
Frontend built for people who need to scan hundreds of companies quickly

What you will do

Build and optimize complex data pipelines and AI workflows to automate the discovery of investment opportunities in private markets.
Own the end-to-end development of new features, including CRM integrations and core service architecture, from initial customer discovery to production release.
Collaboratively design and maintain the underlying infrastructure and data models to ensure the platform scales efficiently alongside a growing customer base.

Who this is a fit for

Holds a STEM or Economics degree from a top-tier university and demonstrates strong fundamentals in computer science and mathematical problem-solving.
Proven ability to build with AI-native tools and a deep curiosity to understand the “how” behind the systems, rather than just making code run.
Exhibits high agency and an entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in a fast-paced, five-day-a-week in-office environment located in Holborn, London.
