Founding Applied AI Engineer at Echelon AI

You will architect the core reasoning systems for autonomous digital workers capable of owning full delivery cycles across platforms like ServiceNow and SAP. Moving beyond simple productivity tools, you will design RL-driven agents that plan, build, and test enterprise software in high-stakes environments, transforming the $1T IT services industry.

• Architect hierarchical planners and multi-agent coordination systems (planner ⇄ executor ⇄ verifier) to automate complex enterprise workflows.
• Design and implement RL and preference optimization loops that improve agent performance based on business outcomes and real-world deployment data.
• Build robust evaluation suites and sandboxing strategies to ensure safe, repeatable, and auditable autonomous changes in regulated environments.

• 3+ years of experience shipping production-grade ML or LLM systems with a deep understanding of API orchestration and async workflows.
• Strong engineering fundamentals in TypeScript and experience operationalizing research into reliable, scalable software systems.
• A builder-scientist hybrid mindset with expertise or high curiosity in fine-tuning, RLHF, and agentic reasoning frameworks.
