Founding Applied AI Engineer at Echelon AI

As a Founding Applied AI Engineer, you will architect the reasoning loops and multi-agent coordination systems that power autonomous digital workers. You will bridge the gap between LLM research and production, designing reinforcement learning pipelines to automate complex enterprise workflows across platforms like ServiceNow and SAP for Fortune 500 clients.

• Architect multi-agent systems using hierarchical planners and verifiers to automate complex, high-stakes enterprise IT implementations safely and repeatably.
• Design and implement RL and preference optimization loops that improve agent performance based on real business outcomes rather than simple token loss.
• Build robust evaluation suites and synthetic task generation pipelines to simulate customer environments and ensure deterministic, compliant automated changes.

• Has 3+ years of experience shipping production ML or LLM systems and possesses a builder-scientist hybrid mindset for experimental engineering.
• Demonstrates deep technical proficiency in TypeScript and asynchronous API orchestration, with the ability to manage non-deterministic systems and complex data pipelines.
• Shows strong curiosity or experience in reinforcement learning (RLHF/DPO) and a drive to solve messy, real-world problems with measurable customer impact.

• Work directly with a founding team that built and sold Moveworks for $3B, gaining rare exposure to elite startup scaling and enterprise AI strategy.
• Tackle hard RL and reasoning problems where agents move beyond simple copilots to owning end-to-end delivery in high-stakes, regulated enterprise environments.
• Receive significant founding equity in a company seeing explosive demand and Series B traction while still operating at a nimble, seed-stage size.
