Role overview

You will architect the platform powering the next generation of consumer brands. While others ship customer workflows, you'll build the underlying engine: durable agent runtimes, enterprise integrations (NetSuite, Shopify), and robust orchestration. Your work ensures AI agents operate reliably at scale, helping brands grow profits by up to 40%.

Corvera is an autonomous operations layer and AI-native operating system for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands. The platform provides an AI agent workforce that automates supply chain management, including demand forecasting, inventory management, order processing, logistics optimization, and cash flow management. Corvera helps fast-growing retail brands increase profits by up to 40% by reducing wastage, improving margins, and enabling hands-free operations through autonomous digital workers that integrate with existing tools like Shopify and inventory systems.

What you will do

  • Architect and ship durable agent runtimes that survive shutdowns and resume across deployments using tools like Daytona and Blaxel microVMs.
  • Build a productized integration layer for ERPs and retailers like NetSuite and Amazon, exposed to agents through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Design the brand's business ontology and queryable source of truth, ensuring business logic remains consistent and governed across all automated workflows.

Who this is a fit for

  • Has 4+ years of production experience in Python (FastAPI/asyncio) and 3+ years in TypeScript/React, with a focus on building resilient distributed systems.
  • Possesses deep expertise in durable execution patterns (Temporal/Inngest), idempotency, and architecting agentic harnesses with multi-turn context management.
  • Thrives in a high-intensity "996" startup culture, defaults to AI-assisted development (Cursor/Claude Code), and prioritizes massive customer impact over abstract code elegance.

Why this role is remarkable

  • Join a top 10% YC batch startup (W26) that scaled from $0 to $35K MRR in just two months with elite backing from 20VC, Firstminute, and Rebel Fund.
  • Own the entire engineering platform including durable execution, agent sandboxes, and complex business ontologies in a high-velocity, mission-critical environment.
  • Work with an elite, tight-knit founding team in San Francisco that lives and breathes the mission, offering unreasonable leverage and significant equity upside.
