Founding Platform & Security Engineer at Gradient Labs

As the first platform hire, you will architect and secure a cutting-edge AI agent platform from the ground up. Reporting to the CTO, you will lead the technical vision for global multi-cloud scaling and security. You will bridge the gap between AI innovation and enterprise-grade infrastructure to redefine financial services operations.

• Architect and implement a comprehensive security framework across AWS, Azure, and GCP to protect against both classic and emerging AI-enabled threats.
• Scale the core platform and AI agent infrastructure to support global deployments while maintaining rigorous application and network security standards.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to embed security best practices into model training and evaluation, ensuring safe and responsible autonomous agent outcomes.

• At least 5+ years of experience in security engineering with deep expertise in cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and production software in Go and Python.
• Proven track record of building automated CI/CD security tooling, vulnerability scanning, and managing complex incident response in fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional communicator capable of explaining complex risk trade-offs to executive leadership and building trust with enterprise customers in regulated sectors.
