What you will do
- Design and implement a hybrid (Sparse + Dense) retrieval architecture to capture specific legal terminology across diverse regulatory texts.
- Build robust data pipelines to ingest and structure messy, unstructured PDFs and HTML into a clean Knowledge Graph or Vector Store.
- Develop and manage rigorous evaluation pipelines (RAGAS) to mathematically prove system accuracy exceeds human legal experts.

- Proven specialist in NLP and Information Retrieval who understands why standard vector database approaches fail for complex, high-stakes reasoning.
- Accuracy-obsessed builder with professional experience in Python, LangChain/LlamaIndex, and vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or Qdrant.
- Systems-oriented engineer comfortable with 0→1 product ownership and ideally experienced in multi-lingual NLP (specifically German or Italian).
