Founding Software Engineer at Origin Therapy

As the third or fourth employee, you will build the core platform that automates complex healthcare workflows. You’ll own the product lifecycle from ideation to deployment, working closely with 75+ active therapists to reduce administrative burdens. This is a high-speed, in-person role focused on shipping AI-driven solutions that create tangible capacity in the healthcare system.

• Ship code daily using TypeScript, React, and Langchain to automate insurance credentialing, billing claims, and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate directly with therapists to observe their workflows, translating user needs into autonomous AI agents and seamless product experiences.
• Make critical architectural and product decisions, choosing the best tools and AI frameworks to accelerate development and scale care operations.

• You are a full-stack builder who has successfully shipped complex products end-to-end and thrives in high-ambiguity, fast-paced startup environments.
• You possess strong technical proficiency in TypeScript and React, with a deep interest in leveraging AI/LLMs to solve operational inefficiencies.
• You value speed and simplicity over over-engineering, demonstrating low ego and a commitment to working in-person 5 days a week in San Francisco.

• Be a founding member as employee #3-4 with significant equity, shaping the product, technical stack, and company culture from the ground up.
