Chahalo is a global bubble tea brand with established locations across multiple international markets. We are currently expanding in North America, with active stores in Canada and New York, and are now entering the U.S. West Coast market. San Francisco will serve as our first West Coast launch city, with two pilot stores opening soon. Our ambition is to build a culturally relevant, community-driven, and digitally strong brand presence that resonates with diverse urban audiences.
What you will do
- Develop consumer-facing applications including a high-performance web ordering platform and a custom customer loyalty program using React and Node.js.
- Architect and maintain the backend infrastructure and database schema using PostgreSQL to support inventory management, store operations, and data analytics.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of features, from initial technical design and API development to deployment and monitoring in production environments.
Who this is a fit for
- 3–5 years of professional experience building and shipping consumer or B2B products end-to-end using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a high-growth startup environment, comfortably handling ambiguity and making high-level architectural decisions without an existing roadmap.
- Strong proficiency in modern web frameworks and tools, with specific experience in Next.js and GraphQL being highly preferred for building scalable consumer interfaces.
