As the Ingénieur Expérimentations, you will own the end-to-end experimentation pipeline, executing critical field tests every four weeks. You’ll bridge the gap between product strategy and operational reality, managing complex logistics, regulatory authorizations, and on-site team leadership. Your success directly dictates the development pace of life-saving defense technology.

Gallium Defense is a new start up that builds deployable, modular sensing systems designed for affordable protection, rapid field integration, scalable coverage, and cost-effective sensing solutions for defense and security use cases.

What you will do

  • Orchestrate the entire experimentation “Playbook,” including flight scenario design, logistics, and securing regulatory clearances from ANFR and military range authorities.
  • Direct the product and engineering teams on-site during test days, adapting plans in real-time to manage anomalies and environmental changes.
  • Manage relationships with specialized equipment vendors and military facilities to ensure all necessary resources are ready for the monthly test rhythm.

Who this is a fit for

  • Holds a Master’s degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of experience coordinating complex technical projects or test campaigns in defense or aerospace.
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and the ability to navigate French regulatory frameworks for RF emissions and military airspace access.
  • Possesses a hands-on, field-oriented mindset with the ability to lead technical teams and make critical decisions under pressure in outdoor environments.
