Lead Software Engineer at Circuitmind

You will lead the development of a pioneering software engine that automates the manual process of designing electronic circuit boards. Working across the backend—from complex data pipelines to ML models—you will solve high-impact, unsolved engineering problems. This role is fundamental to scaling a system that powers hardware innovation in space travel and robotics.

• Design and iterate on the core backend architecture using Python 3.11, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL to solve complex hardware constraints.
• Collaborate directly with in-house hardware and algorithm engineers to translate physical circuit requirements into automated software solutions.
• Lead code reviews and technical co-design sessions while hands-on implementing data models, APIs, and infrastructure improvements.

• Has 5+ years of professional software experience with at least 2 years in a senior role and deep expertise in Python.
• Demonstrates experience building complex systems beyond standard web apps, such as data pipelines, scientific computing, or algorithmic engines.
• Thrives in agile, high-growth environments and possesses the communication skills to bridge the gap between software and hardware engineering.
