Ready to own the entire AI architecture of a high-growth startup? We’re looking for a Senior AI / ML Engineer to lead the AI layer for a legal tech platform backed by top-tier VCs. You will build agentic workflows, recommendation engines, and search infrastructure from the ground up, moving beyond research into high-stakes production deployment.

Role overview
You will own the entire AI surface of a platform providing business intelligence for legal professionals. From building agentic workflows for business development to refining search relevance and recommendation engines, you’ll lead the transition to an in-house engineering model, ensuring high accuracy, observability, and cost-efficiency in a production environment.

- Build and manage complex agentic chains that identify opportunities, verify profiles, and draft high-quality outreach for professional users.
- Design and optimize recommendation engines and search relevance using OpenSearch, similarity mapping, and sophisticated knowledge graphs.
- Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks, including gold sets and hallucination detection, to ensure the highest output quality and cost-efficiency.

- Proven experience shipping and maintaining production LLM features, with a deep understanding of prompt versioning, drift, and observability.
