What you'll do
What you will do
- Take full ownership of AC power system architecture, including power distribution, protection strategies, and panel design for modular chemical plants.
- Design and integrate 3-phase systems, pumps, and heaters across direct-air-capture units and alkaline electrolysers.
- Lead panel certification activities (CE/UKCA) and contribute to functional safety via HAZOPs, FMEAs, and SIL/PL determination.
Who you are
Who this is a fit for
- 5+ years of industrial electrical design experience working with power systems, industrial machinery, or complex process environments.
- Expert proficiency in electrical CAD tools such as Solidworks Electrical, EPLAN, or AutoCAD for producing detailed schematics.
- Deep understanding of functional safety standards (IEC 61508) and experience navigating the Machinery and Low Voltage Directives.
