We created Sam, the first AI Bioinformatician, which structures, analyzes, and uncovers new insights in your research data, dramatically enhancing your R&D capabilities.
Sam builds and maintains customized data workflows for your company, quickly learns about your specific scientific needs, and works around the clock to support your research.
What you will do
- Build product features across React, Next.js, and TypeScript while designing and maintaining backend Python services and REST APIs.
- Manage and scale production infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes on GCP to support high-reliability workloads.
- Collaborate with scientists and customers to translate real-world bioanalysis workflows into robust, automated product capabilities and agentic systems.
Who this is a fit for
- Extensive full-stack experience with modern React/TypeScript and Python backend development, including sophisticated PostgreSQL schema design and data modeling.
- Proven track record managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform and running production containerized workloads on Google Cloud Platform.
- Pragmatic, product-minded engineer who excels in ambiguous environments and prioritizes building secure, reliable systems that solve real user problems.
Why this role is remarkable
- High ownership across the entire stack, from user-facing React features and Next.js interfaces to Terraform-managed infrastructure and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Direct impact on scientific research by building agentic AI systems that automate complex workflows in drug discovery and laboratory analysis.
- Join a fast-moving, technical team where you will influence engineering practices and shape the product vision from the ground up.
