It provides specialized AI agents that automate insurance back-office processes, structure incoming communication, and convert unstructured emails and documents into actionable, traceable cases. Rather than generating isolated text responses, Afori produces review-ready work results — structured cases with tasks and reminders, context-aware email drafts, and prefilled claim notifications. Afori was founded by Fabian Wesemann (CEO) and Sergi Baños (CTO), second-time founders with over ten years of experience in the insurance and technology sector. Both were early team members at wefox and bring deep expertise in brokerage processes, insurance regulation, and scalable product development.
What you will do
- Architect and maintain scalable backend systems for AI agent orchestration and real-time data processing using NodeJS, TypeScript, and AWS.
- Build advanced RAG methodologies and agentic memory layers to synthesize structured and unstructured data from multiple channels for insurance brokers.
- Collaborate with the AI/ML team to deploy production-ready models and optimize microservices for high performance, security, and simplicity.
