Senior Platform Engineer at Goodlord

You will own and evolve a complex dual-cloud platform processing over a million tenancies annually. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, you’ll manage Azure-native serverless workloads and lead the transition toward a Kubernetes-native future on AWS. This role offers genuine ownership of a production environment used by 3,500+ agencies nationwide.

• Own and operate Azure platform workloads including API Management, Function Apps, Cosmos DB, and Event Grid to ensure high scalability.
• Design and implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to maintain consistent environments across development, staging, and production.
• Drive the containerisation roadmap by building and running Kubernetes workloads while improving observability via Datadog and Azure Monitor.

• Has 5+ years of experience with production Azure services and building cloud-native workloads such as APIs or event-driven architectures.
• Possesses strong practical expertise in Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), and managing production environments with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Demonstrates technical leadership skills and a solid understanding of cloud networking, security hardening, and ISO 27001 compliance standards.
