Senior Software Engineer at Omen AI

You will lead the development of secure backend systems for a diagnostic layer protecting critical industrial infrastructure. By managing real-time sensor pipelines and edge compute inference, you'll establish the gold standard for security and compliance. This high-agency role involves architecting scalable services while spearheading SOC2 and ISO certifications for enterprise-scale industrial deployments.

• Design and scale secure backend services in Python or Go to process high-volume, real-time sensor data and ML inference at the edge.
• Lead the technical implementation of SOC2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certification programs to meet rigorous enterprise partner standards.
• Establish robust infrastructure security practices including IAM policies, data encryption, and secure SDLC processes across cloud and hardware environments.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a mastery of backend architecture and high-performance service development in Python or Go.
• Proven track record of owning compliance audits (SOC2/ISO) and implementing security controls at early-stage, fast-growing startups.
• Demonstrated ability to work 5 days a week in-office in San Francisco, exhibiting high agency and composure during production or security crises.
