What you will do
- Design and scale the core architecture including the state machine, workflow engine, and secure API layer for thousands of concurrent transactions.
- Build and maintain sophisticated AI agent pipelines for automated document review, correspondence handling, and structured data extraction.
- Lead security and compliance engineering, implementing robust encryption and audit logging necessary for a regulated, AI-native law firm.
Who this is a fit for
- 5+ years of professional experience with a strong backend focus in Python, TypeScript, and React/Next.js.
- Proven track record of building secure, scalable systems in regulated or sensitive environments like fintech, legaltech, or healthtech.
- Hands-on experience with AI agent orchestration frameworks and the ability to transition from individual contributor to engineering leader as the team grows.
