- Deliver end-to-end features across the entire stack, from modern Angular frontends to robust Java Spring Boot services and SQL Server data layers.
- Reverse-engineer legacy codebases to reconstruct architecture and document intent, ensuring smooth migrations without regressing core customer functionality.
- Build and operate AI agents to accelerate development cycles while maintaining full accountability for the code quality and security of every ship.
Who this is a fit for
- 7+ years of backend Java experience with production ownership of Spring Boot 3.x, plus proficiency in modern Angular/TypeScript and RxJS.
- Expert-level SQL skills (SQL Server or Azure SQL) with a background in multi-tenant design, query optimization, and complex database migrations.
- Proven ability to thrive in large, sparsely documented codebases, using “code archaeology” and AI tools to become productive within the first 30 days.
