As an early-career engineer at Pax, you will build agentic AI systems that navigate the complexities of global trade. You’ll own features end-to-end—from API design to crisp UI—transforming fragmented customs data into structured refunds. Working directly with founders from MIT and Brex, you’ll ship production code in your first week.

What you will do
- Own product features end-to-end, including designing robust APIs, implementing backend logic in FastAPI, and crafting high-quality React/Next.js interfaces.
- Build and deploy agentic LLM systems that process millions in annual trade volume by reconciling customs entries against thousands of pages of federal regulations.
- Work directly with enterprise clients to forward-deploy solutions, incorporating real-time feedback into the product to solve immediate global trade compliance challenges.
