Gallium Defense is a new start up that builds deployable, modular sensing systems designed for affordable protection, rapid field integration, scalable coverage, and cost-effective sensing solutions for defense and security use cases.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain the complete embedded stack, including hardware drivers, FPGA interfaces, embedded Linux layers, and high-speed networking protocols for the radar system.
- Implement and optimize real-time signal processing algorithms like FFT and CFAR using GPU computing frameworks such as CUDA or OpenCL to ensure low-latency performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, RF, and FPGA teams to define clean interfaces and debug complex issues at the boundaries between physical and digital subsystems.
Who this is a fit for
- Holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in embedded software development across multiple layers.
- Demonstrates strong proficiency in C++ and Python, with significant experience working in embedded Linux environments and real-time systems (RTOS).
