We don’t carry risk on our own balance sheet; we partner with carriers and reinsurers who do, and we distribute their products digitally, faster, and at lower cost than they can direct. Our Program Factory model runs a portfolio of programs across hospitality, inland marine, energy, construction, and other emerging lines on shared technology, data, and servicing infrastructure, so each new program launches faster and more efficiently. Capacity partners including QBE, Starr, Ascot, Everspan, TransRe etc. supply the risk capital; Authentic supplies the underwriting, technology, operations, and distribution through brokers like Hub, Gallagher, Alliant, and Marsh. Carriers become balance sheets and logos, and turn to AI-enabled companies like Authentic to distribute their products.
What you will do
- Lead the design and implementation of production data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow to power underwriting models and operational reporting.
- Architect the data warehouse to balance high-performance analytical needs with long-term scalability and strict regulatory compliance requirements.
- Develop comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and data governance frameworks, including lineage tracking and access controls, to ensure high data quality and reliability.
Who this is a fit for
- At least 5 years of professional experience building and maintaining production data infrastructure, with deep proficiency in Python for data processing.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on expertise with the modern data stack, specifically Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow (or similar orchestration tools).
