What you will do
- Architect and ship end-to-end subsystems using TypeScript, Remix, and Node.js, managing everything from database schema design to complex frontend interfaces.
- Design and implement the core application builder, allowing educators to create sophisticated AI apps and agents using natural language and collaborative tools.
- Build deep integrations with major educational platforms like Google Workspace and Canvas LMS to ensure seamless deployment in diverse classroom environments.
Who this is a fit for
- Has 7+ years of experience building production-scale web applications with modern React frameworks like Remix and Node.js backend services.
- Demonstrates proven experience shipping AI-powered features, including LLM integrations, streaming interfaces, and real-time collaboration using WebSockets or CRDTs.
- Exhibits staff-level engineering leadership with a history of mentoring teams and driving strategic technical decisions in high-growth or mission-driven environments.
