Finance Director at Rainforest Builder

We are looking for a Finance Director to own the operational engine of our business. Rather than focusing on fundraising, you will dive deep into the cogs that make the company work, scaling financial processes, managing complex cash flows, and ensuring our day-to-day operations are efficient, robust, and ready for global expansion.

• Design and implement scalable financial systems and controls to support rapid international expansion and complex operational workflows.
• Manage all aspects of day-to-day financial operations including payroll, tax compliance, and vendor management across multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner with cross-functional leads to optimize unit economics and improve the operational efficiency of the company's core products.

• Proven experience as a Head of Finance or Finance Director within a high-growth startup environment, specifically focusing on operational excellence.
• Expert-level knowledge of multi-entity accounting and international financial regulations, with a preference for experience in the UK and Portugal.
• A hands-on builder who enjoys getting into the details of the "cogs" and is comfortable navigating the ambiguity of a scaling business.
