Role overview
As the first dedicated Business Development Manager for the ShipReview platform, you will own the full commercial cycle for the maritime finance and insurance vertical globally. You will drive ARR growth by converting banks and insurers, building a scalable go-to-market strategy, and influencing the product roadmap based on direct market insights.

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end commercial cycle for the ShipReview platform globally, from initial outreach to closing contracts and deepening long-term customer relationships.
- Develop and execute a scalable go-to-market strategy for the maritime finance and insurance segment, identifying key buying agendas and industry associations.
- Act as the primary bridge between the market and the product team, translating customer needs into actionable insights for the platform’s development roadmap.
Who this is a fit for
- Proven track record in consultative B2B sales of risk management or financial data solutions into banks and insurers with 6-12 month cycles.
- Deep existing network within ship finance or marine insurance, coupled with the credibility to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder decision-making processes.
- Previous experience building a market segment from a limited starting point, preferably within a fast-paced scale-up environment.
