Responsibilities
What you will do
- Own the end-to-end credit evaluation process for SME applicants, performing deep-dive financial analysis and delivering fast, accurate lending decisions.
- Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement process improvements to increase speed-to-decision without compromising risk profiles.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Product teams to automate manual checks and enhance proprietary risk models and decisioning engines.
Candidate profile

- 2–4 years of hands-on SME underwriting experience specifically within a UK fintech or modern alternative lending environment.
- High-output mindset with the ability to analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and bank transactions at a high volume.
