What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end finance function, including month-end close, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and rigorous balance sheet control across international operations.
- Partner with commercial and operational leaders to translate financial data into clear insights regarding gross margins, project profitability, and marketplace economics.
- Implement scalable processes and AI-driven automation tools to improve data consistency between the Geomiq platform, operational workflows, and core accounting systems.
Who this is a fit for
- A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CA) with at least 8 years of experience, including 3+ years specifically in a Financial Controller role.
- Proven experience personally rebuilding a finance function from an informal base into a disciplined, scalable operation within a technology-led or manufacturing business.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using automation and AI tools to increase efficiency in day-to-day reporting and financial operations.
