High Impact Athletes — Turning Sporting Influence into Measurable Global Impact
High Impact Athletes (HIA) is redefining what it means to be an athlete in the 21st century. We connect the world’s most influential sportspeople—and the millions who follow them—to the most effective, evidence-backed charities tackling humanity’s biggest challenges: global health, poverty alleviation, animal welfare, and climate change.
Our model is simple but powerful: we channel the cultural influence, reach, and trust that athletes hold into measurable, cost-effective impact. Every partner charity we work with has been vetted through the gold standards of charity evaluation—GiveWell, The Life You Can Save, Founders Pledge, Animal Charity Evaluators—ensuring donations go where they can do the most good, per dollar, anywhere on Earth.
Why We Exist Athletes shape culture. They inspire loyalty, action, and belief. But until now, the sports industry has lacked a credible, scalable way to turn this influence into sustained global good. HIA bridges that gap—transforming influence into impact.
What We Do
• Campaigns with the world’s best athletes We’ve partnered with Olympians, World Champions, and household names to deliver high-profile campaigns that cut through the noise and shift public behaviour toward high-impact giving. Our campaigns have driven both immediate donations and long-term awareness, positioning our athletes as leaders not just in sport, but in humanitarian action.
• Race for Impact — in partnership with HYROX In 2025, we launched Race for Impact with HYROX—the fastest-growing fitness race in the world. This partnership embeds fundraising directly into the HYROX experience, making it easy for tens of thousands of participants to race for causes that save and improve lives. With events in over 20 countries, Race for Impact is going to become a global engine for everyday athlete-led philanthropy, scaling our reach far beyond the elite tier into the everyday athlete community.
• Athlete-led storytelling Our content and campaigns place athletes at the heart of the narrative—not as endorsers, but as active participants. We make impact personal, measurable, and inspiring, so audiences see both the urgency of the cause and the credibility of the messenger.
Our Edge Unlike traditional charity models, HIA combines elite sport’s emotional resonance with the rigorous, data-driven giving principles of effective altruism. We’ve built the trust of both high-profile athletes and the world’s most respected charity evaluators—creating a bridge between two worlds that rarely connect.
The Result In just a few years, HIA has moved millions of dollars to high-impact charities, amplified by the reach of some of the most recognisable names in sport. Our athlete and partner network continues to grow, unlocking exponential potential: the more athletes we connect, the more fans we inspire, the more lives we change.
The Vision We see a future where the sports sector is one of the largest drivers of change on the planet—where competing at the highest level comes with a responsibility to lead on the issues that matter most. HIA will be the platform that makes this possible.
What you will do

- Optimize the global payment stack, including Stripe and Raisely, to minimize fees and ensure efficient fund flows to approximately 20 partner charities.
- Establish the operational policy library, manage multi-jurisdiction payroll via Deel and Xero, and ensure compliance with US 990 and UK Charity Commission filings.
Who this is a fit for
- 5+ years of senior finance experience with specific expertise in multi-entity nonprofit management, restricted fund accounting, and international charity compliance.
