Role overview
As the first product hire at Emerge-tech.io, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and user needs. You’ll own the product backlog, lead delivery processes, and translate complex SME HR challenges into actionable user stories. Working alongside a fast-moving team of seven, you will shape the 0-to-1 product roadmap.

Its software provides a holistic talent journey by supporting recruitment, employee retention, and onboarding processes in an automated, personalized way, aiming to digitize and enhance employer attractiveness for smaller businesses through specialized AI agents and a B2B SaaS model.
What you will do
- Own the product backlog and delivery structure, managing sprint planning and writing detailed user stories for the engineering team.
- Collaborate closely with AI engineers to prioritize features and navigate technical trade-offs in an iterative, weekly shipping cycle.
- Engage directly with SME owners to understand their HR pain points and translate those insights into product improvements and new features.
Who this is a fit for
- Proven experience owning product delivery at an early-stage startup, specifically in a 0-to-1 environment with a team under 15 people.
- Strong technical foundation, ideally with a CS background or prior engineering experience, allowing for deep collaboration with AI and software engineers.
- Exceptional ownership mentality and comfort with ambiguity, capable of setting up agile processes from scratch without needing extensive corporate infrastructure.
