Role overview
Sunspel Limited is a British garment manufacturer and luxury clothing retailer best known for creating high-quality, everyday wardrobe essentials such as boxer shorts, T‑shirts, polo shirts and knitwear. Founded in 1860, the company has over 160 years of heritage in crafting premium underwear and casualwear, and was among the first to introduce the boxer short to the UK market in the mid‑20th century.[2][5] Sunspel focuses on timeless, modern designs made from exceptional fabrics, emphasizing comfort, durability and understated style rather than trend-led fashion.[1][4][5] The brand designs and manufactures many of its core products in the UK, particularly at its Long Eaton facility, while working with specialist partner factories in Europe for certain categories, and positions itself as an authentic English heritage brand with a contemporary, luxury aesthetic.[1][4][6][8] Its products are sold through its own retail stores, e‑commerce site sunspel.com, and selected wholesale partners globally, serving customers seeking premium apparel and accessories in the retail apparel and fashion segment.[1][2][7]
